Kommt MINI J01 Elektro auch als MINI Cooper Cabrio Electric J03 2025 Convertible?

    Ich hoffe ja schwer auf ein E-Cabrio, denn ich möchte ein Schiebedach zum öffenen oder eben gar Dach :)

    Aktuell fällt der 3türer und Aceman genau deswegen bei mir raus…

    aber laut meiner Verkäuferin soll es keins geben - oder nur eine Kleinserie.

    Wäre wohl so kommuniziert worden ?!


    Ganz glauben kann ich das nicht, vor allem da ja auch seitens Mini hieß, man will am Cabrio festhalten.

    Sie meinte, der Marktanteil wäre zu gering und nur in Europa bei den 20%.


    Ich hoffe das reicht Mini, um ein Cabrio zu bringen-denn sonst seh ich mich in ein paar Jahren bei Abarth einkaufen…

    Und so lange freue ich mich über ein offenes Schiebedach im jetzigen SE :saint:

    Die Kleinserie gibt es ja, allerdings in Form des Vorgängers ;)

    Am Cabrio selbst definitiv, MINI F67 Verbrenner halt.


    Der J01 ist so frisch am Markt. Hier würde ich abwarten,

    was da ggf. noch (aus Oxford, in x Jahren) kommt 8)

    Da das Werk ja umgebaut bzw erweitert wird stehen die Chancen ja nicht ganz schlecht, vielleicht bekommt er ein Stoffdach welches nicht zu öffnen ist, :evil: 8o

    Mir gefällt das, was nun spekuliert wird :thumbup:

    The Electric J03 MINI Cooper Convertible


    The J03 MINI Convertible will leverage the J01 platform that underpins the new electric MINI Cooper and forms the foundation of the J05 Aceman. According to sources the convertible looks like it will be built primarily at the Oxford plant in the UK. While our sources didn’t say it wouldn’t also be built in China, BMW forecasts the majority of its sales in the UK, Europe and North America. And yes, as you’d expect being built in the UK will mean North American imports as well.


    Sources tell us that MINI will likely use a similar top to what we’ve seen on the F57 albeit with more attention focused on aero efficiency. This effort will be focused on reducing drag typically associated with convertible tops.


    It appears that MINI might debut the car in 2025 with sales beginning in 2026. This timing could coincide with a LCI refresh scheduled for the J01 which could include tweaked styling and even higher range and performance.

    If we look at previous convertible introductions, expect MINI to introduce several new exterior colors, interior trims and even a new wheel design.

    So schnell ein LCI ich weiß ja nicht. Aber die Hoffnung .. zuletzt ;)
